We’ve spent more than 30 years helping our Nation’s Symbol pull back from the brink of extinction. While the eagles we released help re-establish this bird throughout the southern US, some of our education eagles are gaining fame in other ways. Now we’re continuing this mission by studying this species using a team of volunteer observers (the BEST), studying this species in winter, and addressing a major threat that remains for this species – secondary lead-poisoning.
