National Geographic photographer's trip
National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore, who photographed the Sutton Center's Bald Eagle project for the November 1992 issue of the magazine, and who has also participated as the featured speaker in two of our Sutton Natural History Forum programs at Oklahoma high schools, is working on a new project. Called the Great American Zoo Trip, he is photographing rare and endangered wildlife in captivity in a portrait studio setting to create personal, intimate portraits of these creatures. He photographed some of our birds early on in this project. You can read his blog here, and view a video here.
